Toilet Sanitation Project

Kampong spue Province is the poor in Cambodia, the living of inhabitant was quite un sanitation, insufficient water consumption…. So that why SSF Foundation has assist one District is Somrong Tong district, Kampong spue. We had educate the community to be self-develop, Human right, exploitation, Abuse, Child labor, ... more than this we had provide the best more opportunity to community that we works with like open the jar training, Initiative SHG, Rice bank, Home gardens, Raising poultry, and provide the addition loan to community expand the business at home. Now day we had Toilet program which will be distribute to community to a whole village amount 26 family, I had encourage and participate with villager to digging the hole for building toilet and would like to speed up this program to finish on May 2010.

Home Garden

Kheav savy window with 11child, live Somrong Tong District, Kapong Speu Province, her family is the poorest family in village, have no anything. Previously at her house doesn’t do anything, but after we assist to build the home garden in front of the house, now house become green, at her garden growing morning glory, cucumber, gourd and herbs chilly. Prior to my house never growing anything a chilly, or something for daily consumption, she said in smiling face.

Sex Abuse Case

Now day in Cambodia society there are many sex abuse case that always happens, all the case always happens in the rural area, particularly Kampong Spue Province, always happened many case every year. Accurately in Kong Piesy District happened to Vet Mant Family.

Vet Mant 45 widow, with five household member’s one youngest daughter, live in Tram Kong Village, Stock Commune, and Kong Peisy District. The Vet Family is the poor family in village, her husband was many year ago, leave the family live in struggling to subsistence, Vet raise her child by grocery selling at home and do agriculture as well.

So sympathy of her family, the youngest daughter ( Chab Srey Ven 12 ) has been attempted to rap several time by the adult boy18.

Participated Community Meeting

On 5 May 2010 i had participated with annual community meeting in Kraing Rhong village, Kampong Speu Province, in the meeting i had discuss with the community about toilet sanitation, Home gardens and Household Planning the villager has participate amount 30 household although have raining by happily in get the new idea in household planing, and to home gardens along the house.

Works Today

Today in the morning i had to do the quotation for purchasing toilet sanitation, and in the evening i had go to interview the family to do family household planning. other hand in the a long way cover with raining.

Field Works

i had a field works every in evening, today i had propose a adult to raising chickens at his home, and intend to provide the technique for raising to him. i had interview him to have information, he would like to raise or not and what could that he could to do in this case and what he need my team work to help. he would like to raising chickens in five hens or ten.

Traveling

Today i had bring the volunteer SSF to visit the poor and poorest in the Kampong Speu province. we had to visit two village the SSF work with.
