21December 2009 SSF Foundation have a file trip go to the Krang Rhong village, Skos commune, Somrong Tong district, Kompong speu province to visit Mrs. Aek Rin 45years old discuss with him about how to make the model vegetable gardening in the village, and met with other farmer to ask the issue problem in village, and improve the vegetable garden.

In the meeting with Mrs. Aek Rin our goal is to encourage him to be the leader farmer in village fro growing vegetable. After we had discuss with him perhaps 1hour he agree with our program and promise going effort to achieve in the set model vegetable gardening. That our program he requested to the SSF Foundation to support construct the dam for him (3m length, 1.5m width, 1m depth) that spend $60 for the dam. SSF Foundation promise that will be provide to him recently for growing vegetable and any crop that possible.

Other hand we had the meeting with other farmer for improve the vegetable gardening at home as the result some family are still to growing, and some family are leaf behind because not enough water for irrigate and more than this the price of vegetable are low price that can not acceptable, (1kg water convolvulus is 500 riel) so some other farmer change from this crop to other crop that have available price. By the major problem is water, we were considered on the providing jars to the farmer in Krang Rhong village but the first we considered some of the family that they are try to grow vegetable although in the busy season, we will provide the jar to them, as they had request to the foundation. Our program will be providing jar to 4family that best is recently (1family get 1jar) and other family will provide after if they try to do the garden.

In addition our SSF Foundation will try to find the resolution for them and effort solve water problem, increase the work for them for get better living, water sanitation, food security ..est.
